Welcome to the new issue of Sport & Street to which, after many discussions and debates, my team and I decided to give the title of "The Chaos Theory".As suggested by Danilo Venturi, the director of the first fashion school in Italy, in his interview in the In Conversation With section, we decided to embrace the Beautiful Chaos of this historic moment.Ãƒâ€š Because from disorder and chaos a new and extraordinarily exciting order can be born.Ãƒâ€š Season after season, the Sport & Street team is facing a phenomenal amount of new collections from all over the world.Ãƒâ€š A really very large quantity that arrives at our desks in the most chaotic and messy way imaginable, a bit like the set created exclusively for Sport & Street from the
Season after season, we embark on the monumental task of seeing and analyzing, cataloging and selecting all the inputs that have arrived there.Ãƒâ€š To create a complete panorama of the most important and relevant seasonal trends, in this issue specifically for the spring / summer 2019, in our pages you will also find a preview of the fabrics for the autumn / winter 2019 season. To offer our
readers a a carefully mixed mood and trend cocktail in which all the ingredients communicate and interact with each other in a conversation between past, present and future.
So we gave ample space to the last generation of Italian designers such as Federico Cina and Simon Cracker and Alessandro Enriquez. But we have devoted pages and pages to the old school, a
iconic and historic brands like Woolrich and Fred Perry and Barbour and Iceberg. Because "Il Vecchio" is, most of the times, important, at least and if not more, than "Il Nuovo".
As usual, this issue of Sport & Street focuses on seasonal musts in the Buyer's Guide, on the most interesting international brands in the Focus On and Sport & Street sections,
on the new ecological collections in the Go Green section.
